What Type of Intelligence Does Your Child Have?

Verbal-Linguistic Intelligence

 

The dominance of verbal intelligence in children means that their speaking and writing skills are strong. Children with the verbal intelligence type can effectively convey their thoughts and feelings orally and in writing. They enjoy reading books, telling stories and talking. Vocabulary is high and they have a strong memory. They listen to what is spoken, interpret, remember and express it in a different way. They have the ability to learn different languages. The most effective way of learning for them is to listen.

 

Numerical-Logical Intelligence

 

Children, numerical intelligence is the ability to think through deductive techniques, solve abstract and symbolic problems, and establish a cause-effect relationship. Children with strong numerical fields want to understand the reason of everything and constantly question them. Dealing with numbers, conducting logic, making puzzles, playing checkers, playing chess, and discovering new things excite them a lot. They do not have trouble learning and practicing mathematics; mathematics knowledge is high.

 

Visual-Spatial Intelligence

 

It is the ability to visualize the visual intelligence in children and keep them in mind better. Pictures, shapes, maps, tables, slide shows make it easy for children with visual intelligence to learn. These children are interested in art; they are capable of drawing and drawing. They dream. They learn by seeing and observing. Producing imaginary, mental pictures from what they listen to; they use these mental pictures to remember what they learned. Once they see a person they see once, they immediately remember.

 

The ability of the child to express himself better by using his body and hands also shows that his kinesthetic-bodily intelligence is more dominant. Such children can use their mind and body coordination effectively. Since they can stay active for a long time, hand skills such as dance, sports, drama, sculpture or ceramics, repair are activities that they may like. They can learn better by touching, moving and active participation more than what is said. Therefore; It would be appropriate to support their learning with arts and workshops.

 

Auditory-Rhythmic Intelligence

 

Children with strong auditory intelligence express themselves with the best music. They have a very good music ear like a musician; tone differences, changes in sound frequencies immediately attract their attention. Recognizes melodies; they memorize songs easily and keep them in mind. They can immediately recognize people by their voices. Their speeches and movements are rhythmic. They are more prone to playing a musical instrument and learn even faster than children with other intelligence types.

Interpersonal-Social Intelligence

 

Children with strong interpersonal social intelligence tend to understand people’s moods, feelings, thoughts. They like to be in social environments, spend time with friends, play with them, talk. Friendship of children with social intelligence is strong. They can easily adapt when they enter different environments. Their close friends are many and it makes them happy to listen to their friends and help them with their problems. They have leadership qualities; they enjoy organizing meetings, entertainment and various organizations.
