Where every cry is answered, every milestone is witnessed
JOL Kids Academy offers infant care in Lisle, IL for babies 6 weeks to 14 months, combining Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles with real-time parent communication through the Procare Connect app.
Where Your Baby's First Year Becomes the Foundation for a Lifetime of Learning
Bringing your baby to daycare for the first time is one of the hardest decisions a parent makes. At JOL Kids Academy in Lisle, we built our infant program around a simple belief. This first year matters more than any other, and it deserves educators who treat it that way.
We welcome infants from 6 weeks to 14 months old. The room they walk into (or get carried into) wasn’t scaled down from an older classroom. It was designed from scratch, for babies, with their pace of growth in mind.

A Room Built Around Connection
Babies don’t learn from worksheets. They learn from being held, talked to, and given the freedom to explore safely.
Our infant classroom reflects that. Every day includes plenty of one-on-one time. Cuddling. Eye contact. Real conversation, even before your baby can talk back. We know a baby’s sense of security comes first. Everything else follows from it.
Alongside that closeness, infants get room to move, reach, and figure things out on their own terms, with toys and books chosen for where each baby actually is developmentally, not just their age on paper.
We also work closely with you. Naps, feeding times, play. Every baby has a rhythm, and we build the day around theirs instead of asking your baby to adjust to ours. That means real conversations with parents about what’s working and what your baby needs this week, not a generic schedule handed to every family in the room.
Nutrition From Day One
For infants old enough for solid foods, we offer organic cereals, purees, and a rotating variety of fruits and vegetables, made with the same care as every meal at JOL. If your baby has specific dietary needs, tell us and we’ll work with you directly to make sure they’re met.
Staying Connected to Your Baby's Day
You shouldn’t have to wonder how your baby’s day went. Through our Procare Connect app, you’ll get real-time photos, updates, and notes throughout the day: feeding times, nap schedules, small milestones. You’re never far from what’s happening in the room, even while you’re at work.
Why Families Choose JOL for Infant Care
Our infant educators are trained specifically in early infant development. They’re background-checked and CPR/First Aid certified. But talk to any parent here, and what they mention first usually isn’t the credentials. It’s consistency. The same caring faces, day after day, building a real relationship with their baby.
This is also where JOL’s broader philosophy starts taking shape. The Montessori and Reggio Emilia principles that guide our whole academy (respect for the child, the environment as a teacher, hands-on exploration) begin here, adapted for the youngest learners we serve.
